You either say or
read them to yourself over and over again. If your like me, you even
listen to affirmations while working or driving.
Listening works best
in my opinion. It's also the easiest to do, as you can go about your
day and just listen to them play in the background. As you
listen you repeat them in your mind and therefore get the benifits of
reading without the extra effort of reading them line by line.
Only
problem with affirmations is that they are not factually truth, at
least not yet.
Everyone
has what I call a lie detector in their mind and it will
nullify any untruthful statements that do not line up with your
internal beliefs.
In order to override
this lie detector, you have to bombard it with these statements in
order to try and override your beliefs that are currently accepted as
the truth.
Some
people are more accepting of new
thoughts, or new beliefs and will therefore accept the new input as
truth.
But most people are not
so accepting, and instead will cling to the old
beliefs and not allow the new statements to replace them.
So unfortunately they
will not be able to use affirmations and get positive results, at least
not in the normal manner of repetitive input.
I
recommend using
affirmations, after all they can't hurt.
