How is your Brain keeping you from everything you desire....

If you could Change Your Brain, Then you would definitely "Change Your Life"

So how is your brain holding you back from everything that you desire? Let's start with your present state of mind and beliefs. Everyone operates based on an internal set of beliefs that have been formed over the course of their life.

These beliefs will control the outcome of what you do, and what you ever attempt to do. For instance, if you consider starting a new business, your inner beliefs will kick in automatically and either encourage or discourage you from doing so.

If you have strong positive beliefs, as well as a strong affirmative self belief, then you will most likely attempt and succeed to some extent at the endeavor.

But if you have poor, or negative limiting beliefs about your abilities, or low self confidence, then you will most likely not even attempt the endeavor. Or you will quit when you meet with opposition.

Most of these beliefs are not readily apparent to most people, because they are so automatic and subtle in nature.

They do not, just jump out and say, “you are not that smart”, or “you are easily capable of doing that”. You either automatically decide to try, or not to try.

I’ll use an example of one of my siblings to illustrate. I am the type of person who is very positive, and optimistic. I believe, that there is nothing that I cannot do or accomplish. I will take calculated risks and have been involved in many business ventures. I also believe, that everything happens for a reason and that it will all work out in the end for my greater good.

On the other hand, my sibling couldn’t be more opposite. We grew up in the same house, same parents, we all experienced their divorce and bankruptcy, etc, but yet, I have been motivated to excel and continually succeed in more and more things. I’m not talking about just finances, I continually learn about anything and everything, that could help me become a better person.

Yet I developed a set of beliefs that control and govern my life in ways totally different from my sibling. Could it be that he has developed internal beliefs such as: "if you over-extend or take risks, it could cost you your marriage, home and everything else?"

On the other hand, could I have developed beliefs that said, you have to be more careful, examine all the possibilities, and learn everything you can about a successful marriage, or how to raise great kids-etc. A life of ever-learning which I try to live each day. I was exposed to the same set of circumstances, yet, I hold a completely different set of internal guiding beliefs.

I’ll be the first to say, that I still have limiting beliefs that I am changing and removing. But my sibling doesn’t acknowledge that there is anything potentially holding him back from having a better more fulfilling life.

He could be just as successful as I, or anyone else for that matter, but he says things like, that’s not my priority, I don’t want to miss out on time with the kids, or I’m totally happy where I’m at now. I’m not disputing his happiness by any means.

I have more freedom to do what I want, when I want, with my kids because of the things I have accomplished and it was not that hard to do. Plus I haven't missed out on anything with my kids or family life, what a wonderful way to live life!

Most people, if challenged as to why they have not tried to accomplish more, will justify their choices by saying things like, “that isn’t important to me”.

Yet if they really thought for a second, that it would be possible for them, I mean truly believed, they could have what ever they wanted, there would be very few, that would not accept it into their lives gladly and with little resistance.

Yet the only thing separating anyone, from all their desires, is their limiting beliefs.

Some would say, the price too pay is too high, but I say that everything has a price, even mediocrity. To perpetuate being average will never do anyone, or this world any good.

But to instill limitless possibilities into ourselves and children, would pay back in spades in the form of new inventions and ideas, which would further our society. Not to mention the more positive attitudes that would permeate through the very fabric of our society.

We all want to have the best for our children and ourselves, but when faced with the paralyzing limiting beliefs that run deep in our subconscious minds, we tend to justify the best away.

But I also know, you can be happier and have a lot more fun in life, if you only realize that YOU can. I live that type of life and believe that anybody else can as well.

The only thing, that will ever hold anyone back, from getting anything they want in life, is their silent, but deadly, limiting beliefs.

When a person views themselves as no different from their mom and dad, or their grandparents-etc. They will not see any reason to believe; or even to suspect, that anything exists in their mind that could be keeping them from a higher more fulfilling life.

They are normal if compared to their sphere of influence. They are fitting in to what has been normal all of their lives.

To stretch beyond that comfort zone, is extremely uncomfortable for most people.

So the bottom line is that we all have ideas and principles that were programmed into us by our parents and people that we grew up around. These beliefs have shaped us into who we are today. We literally have modeled those around us and our to some extent copies.  Its easier to copy than to be original.

The way we view someone who is of a different nationality, or someone who lives in a certain area, or drives a certain type of car, or how they dress etc., is all a direct result of our programming.

Just a side note, people are also being programmed everyday by the media/advertisements in very negative ways. They are being manipulated in order to serve the media's needs.

They want you to buy what they say, to wear what they design, to look the way they dictate. Most people are far too weak in their own self worth to resist this manipulation. They would rather fit in, than to stand out and go through any emotional discomfort.

It makes no difference whether it’s right or wrong, if you believe something, then it will govern your life..

Was slavery right?, Was Hitler right? Was the world Flat? Is someone smarter because of the color of their skin?

Are you stupid because your teacher or parent said so?

Will you never amount to anything because some one else said so?

Are you an airhead, a waste of good oxygen, a worthless good for nothing little..…etc.. ???

Are you too overweight, are you too skinny?

Is your skin the wrong color?

Are you stupid because your teacher or parent said so?

Will you never amount to anything because some one else said so?

Are you an airhead, a waste of good oxygen, a worthless good for nothing little..…etc.. ???

Are you too overweight, are you too skinny?

Is your skin the wrong color?

Of course not!! Yet how many people are walking around with these thoughts (limiting beliefs) playing in their minds like a broken record? They are living according to programming, that is completely false, but yet controls everything they do, say or try. They make it their reality.

How many people have not risen to their true potential because of these lies that they decided to believe as truth about themselves?.

These limiting beliefs have robbed people of so much happiness and joy.

It breaks my heart when I hear a parent speak to their child in a negative manner, because I know, it will cause them to be held back, in some manner for the rest of their lives .

"Stop crying, boys don't cry, thats a sign of weakness"

How do you think that statement will affect a young boy when he grows up into a man?

That poor child will internalize what is being said about him/her and believe it to be true, when it couldn’t be further from the truth. But the programming continues none the less.

Oh, but how lucky is the child, who has a parent who understands they are shaping the very beliefs, that will carry them through the rest of their lives.

The positive beliefs that are instilled in them, will give them the courage to try and succeed, while others sit on the sidelines of life, held back by fear of failure, embarrassment or ridicule.

I know most people are only doing the best they know how, but it’s time to remove that excuse and hold people accountable for not learning how to break that pattern.

When we have at our disposal such vast information, there is just no excuse anymore.

The iDrug can and will help make a difference in people's limiting beliefs.

To further explain the technical aspect of how your mind works, we’ll begin with the infant stage.

When you are an infant through the age of about 1, your mind is functioning in the Delta brainwaves. This is the lowest of brainwaves and is conducive to brain development.

As we continue to grow, we start to function in the theta brainwaves where we start to learn to walk and talk, and develop our motor skills etc.

As we continue to age, we start to function in the alpha brainwaves, where we are still learning and growing. It is in these two states, theta and alpha, that we learn the easiest. We are able to learn multiple languages very easily during this time.

By the way, the theta and alpha brainwaves are where a hypnotist tries to get your mind to when trying to hypnotize you.

At this point we are also learning and developing our belief system, some negative and totally false, and other beliefs true and positive. But true or false does not matter, if we believe it, it’s true no matter what.

As we become adults, we start to function more in the beta brainwaves, where we spend most of our waking moments. By this time most of our core limiting or empowering beliefs have been programmed into our subconscious mind.

Now when we try to make changes in our habits, or try to use positive affirmations to facilitate change, the outcome is controlled by these core belief systems.

Our subconscious will filter any and all thoughts through our belief system and we will make decisions and choices automatically, without even consciously knowing why we made them.

It will be normal to avoid certain things and to gravitate towards others, because of our belief system. If you believe that to appear successful, you must wear xyz jeans, or drive xyz car or live on the west side of town, then that is what will direct your life.

All the while, we won't even be conscious of why we are driven to do so. It will just be automatic, because that’s how we were programmed. This programming runs in the background, just like in a computer.

After all, our brains are the ultimate supercomputer, it just doesn’t come with an owner’s manual. But the iDrug can offer you some technical support.

Now the programming isn’t always a result of positive input, it can also come about as the direct result of negative circumstances. You may develop a drive and belief to be the opposite of the negative circumstances.

This can be good in helping you to attain certain goals, but you will still develop within you, another set of beliefs that may hold you back in other areas of your life.

You may accomplish financial goals, but yet be emotionally and spiritually empty and unhappy. You may have come to believe that financial success will make you happy and will fix any issues you experienced growing up, so your guiding beliefs are skewed towards financial success, and you may not balance it with other areas that make us truly happy in life.

So when you try to affirm something you want to change and are holding a contrary believe to the affirmation, then your mind will cancel it out as false and counter to what you truly believe.

Your mind will not be easily fooled or reprogrammed unless it’s done under the proper circumstances.

The iDrug induces the ideal circumstances to make subconscious changes easy.

There our many options when it comes to improving your self. You can enlist the help of a mentor or coach. You could go to seminars or boot camps or church.. You could purchase books, videos or CD’s. It’s like being able to go back and get a "do over" with your mind and belief system.

Why did it change for you?

What made it change?
