What Are Your Options?

Well lets take a look at things I've tried, and others I've researched. We'll also look at anything, that is out there, that we are aware of.

Coaching & Mentor Programs, Etc.

For starters this is the most expensive option, but does have a lot of benefits. If, you can get a very successful person, to either mentor, or coach you, first hand, then I think there are a lot of good things to consider.

First, if the person is an expert in their chosen field and is willing to hold your hand, then by all means take advantage of it. They can impart to you many things, that would prove valuable.

A good way to do something similar to this is to start a mastermind group of successful people, that you have common goals with. This is by far cheaper and can have many of the same benefits as a mentor.

Its more of a collective conscious, that you would be drawing upon instead of just one person.

But, back to the mentoring option, If you can afford it, by all means take advantage of it. But, I still believe that this alone, will never make you successful in its self.

Unless, the mentor can remove any and all limiting beliefs from you and turn you into a new positive person, then you will still struggle with many issues. Even after you do become successful through their mentoring.

I'm sure you have heard of all the rich stars who are miserable and commit suicide. They had it all, but just could not escape their own worst enemy.....themselves.

Verdict: Great, expensive, but won't fix all your other problems that lie deep in your subconscious mind. Material Success, but no personal internal success unless the mentor can change your limiting beliefs.

Seminars, Boot Camps, Weekend Encounters Etc.

Well this one, is a fun one. I love to be around people that are positive. I Love the higher level of thinking and the all around good vibe.

But it does not come cheap and usually wears off within a few weeks. Then your right back to where you were before the seminar.A lot of the material is great but most people will not follow through with what they learned at the seminar. I'm guilty as well. It just takes a lot of effort to do, especially when your back to your normal life, alone, with out all the other positive people to help keep you going.

Verdict: Lots of fun, expensive, doesn't last very long, danger of becoming a seminar junkie to get that next high.

Self Help Courses, Books, Video's, Etc..

Personally, this has been probably my most utilized method. I can't get enough of the newest techniques, what is the newest book, or the newest course that is being offered.

I have probably spent over $25,000 since the age of 15years old. That may not be much by some peoples standards, but, it is still a lot of money.

I can say, that I learned a lot, and have been exposed to tons and tons of good information. Most of which has shaped, who I am today. So, I definitely don't see myself stopping this form of learning. And with the internet, its only getting easier to get my hands on more and more good stuff.

Only problem with all that I know, has been the implementation of the information.

I've done all the exercises, all the goal setting journals, and on and on. It wasn't until the last couple of years, that I started to look more towards the inside. I started to search from within, to find out what was holding me back. That's when I began to develop the iDrug system.

The main advice I can give you, on this from of learning, is that you absolutely must eradicate any, and all limiting beliefs within you. If the average person had a perfectly positive mind, with no negative self talk what so ever, than this would be my recommended choice of learning.

Verdict: Can be expensive over your life, lots of great usable info, my personal favorite, but still has implementation problems.

Self Talk, Affirmations, Qestfirmations, Hypnosis, 60 BPM Music, Brain Wave Entrainment, Subliminal CD's, ETC ..

This, is where it all can start to happen in your life. This is where all of my years of searching have lead me to. The final piece of the puzzle, so to speak.

Lets start with Hypnosis.

Can be expensive,up to a couple of hundred dollars per session. Usually requires some one that is highly trained to have good results. Works for a lot of people, you may want to try it for yourself. But be warned it can get expensive very quickly

Next is 60 BPM music.

This is music that is fairly mellow and relaxes you, so you can then use affirmations and visualizations etc. They play some of this music in massage studios etc. It can work for some people, but doesn't get your mind down to the hypnosis level of suggestibility. Try it it may work for you.

Subliminal CD's...

Where do I start with this one? My first experience with subliminal's was over 30 yrs ago when I was a teenager. I had a whole tape case full of them, and I listened to them all the time. Never could hear anything but the music, but I used them for a long time.

Most recently I spent over $700.00 on a newer subliminal technology. I won't tell you who, but their on the web and you can check into them yourself. I had no problems, what so ever with the company, they were fine to deal with.

But, lets just say that I now think I wasted my money, knowing what I know now. Want to buy some CD's cheap....?

Bottom line is, that if you can't hear or understand it, then how the heck is your brain understanding it? If I call your name, and you can't hear me, are you going to respond? I think not.

I will say that, I still play them through out the day, because my kids have gotten used to the wave music, they call it. And I might as well get some enjoyment from them.

Verdict: Not worth it, in my opinion. No real research to truly back them up.

Self Talk, Affirmations, Qestfirmations, Visualizations, Meditation, etc.

I put all of these together since they all work on the same principles.

First lets mention visualization.

This is basically positive affirmations, in the form of mental picture images and self directed mental movies. They do work well, and many athletes use this method as well as others when training. It does take some quiet time and some discipline to get results. I would recommend this to anyone, and still do.

Lets look at positive self talk, also known as affirmations.

This technique requires that you make a statement to yourself over and over again, until hopefully your mind accepts it as truth. I've done this all of my life, and its part of the reason that I am, who I am today. But, you have to do this all the time, and believe me, it can get tiresome. But no pain, no gain.

So yes they do work, just not always as fast as we would like and sometimes not at all. Problem again is that if you have deep limiting beliefs in your subconscious mind, they will win every time, end of story.

I don't care if you are a strong church going person, your negative beliefs about yourself will hold you back every time.

Now as for Qestfirmations,

here is a variation on the affirmations, that has worked better for me and for others. Let me explain.. When you are asked a question, your response is to get the answer or to try to find an answer. This is 100% natural for people to do.

So, why not rephrase your positive affirmation, into a positive question? Now, instead of your subconscious resisting your usually untrue affirmation, it naturally, starts to look for the answer.

If you say to yourself, "Why am I so stupid", or"Why am I so fat", Or "Why do I never have enough money", what happens? You mind will give you the answer you are asking for, although it will be a negative confirmation of the negative question that you just asked.

Now, ask yourself, "Why is it so easy for me to learn new things" or "Why is my body starting to burn fat quicker" or "Why do I always have extra money at the end of the month", now what happens...?

Well first of all, your mind stops and thinks for a split second, and then starts to try and get you the answer to your positive question. It also doesn't automatically censor your positive affirmation as a lie, since it was not a statement of untruth, but rather, a question to be researched further.

I believe this method will help more people to make changes than all the other methods combined.

Meditation,

is something, that everyone should do, period. I heard someone say, that prayer is when you talk to God, and meditation is when you listen. I've come to know this is truth in my life. I have received so much insight and so many new ideas, when I meditate. It's become a part of my day.

Did you know, that most highly successful people, and I don't mean only wealth success, meditate on a daily basis. You can get centered on what really matters in life and get so clear, that it just has to be tried in order to appreciate it.

Problem is, it takes a lot of practice to do. I remember the first time I tried it. I could not get my mind quiet for the life of me. And My wife well just forget that, she had a hard time sitting still, let alone trying to meditate.

But, we did find a much easier way to get into very deep meditative states and it did not take us years to do. In fact, it only took us 20 minutes.
