A Questfirmation is an Affirmation
in the form of a question.
So why would a question work
better than a statement?
Well the simple truth is that most
affirmations are not truth to begin with. They are positive statements,
that we would like to become truth.
So when you make a false
statement(affirmation), over and over again we hope to make it
eventually become truth, by having our subconscious mind accept is as
such.
Problem is that your subconscious
mind or filter will take an affirmation, run it through its lie
detector, and if it fails, then guess what...Your affirmation is null
and void.
Most of the time we will have a limiting
belief that is contrary to the
affirmation and therefore will cause the lie detector to go off.
I doesn't matter if your limiting
belief is based on actual truth or not. The fact that its what you
believe is all that matters.
You
could not get anyone to believe otherwise. We all know now that the
truth was completely different from the lie that they believed to be
true.
So you see if you have a counter
belief that is contrary to the affirmation you are trying to make into
reality, you will be spinning your wheels. Unless you first bypass the
limiting belief
and instead of your mind turning
on the lie detector, it will instead turn on your researcher. It will
try to get you an answer to the question you just asked.
Its automatic, you naturally want
to answer the question in some manner. When someone makes a statement
you either agree or disagree.
When asked a question you usually
try to come up with an answer, right?
Its only natural. The same is true
when you speak in negative questions, such as "why am i so dumb"? Your
mind will come up with a negative answer, to why you are so dumb.
Compared to asking a positive
question, such as, "Why am I so smart"? Now your mind still comes up
with an answer, only this time, it will try to come up with a positive
one to support your positive question.
If you have always been told that
you were dumb, it may take a little time, but given the proper positive
questions, you will start to get the positive answers to validate the
positive question.
